St. Jude Children’s Hospital

The entertainer Danny Thomas could not have dreamed it up better if he tried.  And he did way back in 1963 when the hospital he championed became a qualified 501 (c)(3) charity.  It was a dream that he shared with God and promised, if he were ever famous, he would build the hospital for children with life-threatening diseases as an honor to God and St. Jude.

St. Jude Thaddeus was the Patron Saint of hopeless causes.

The hospital focuses on providing care and treatment for the more seriously ill, along with access to clinical trials, research, and training for those in need, all at no cost to the benefitting family.  St. Jude’s pays all of the travel expenses of the patient and his or her family, housing, treatments, and other related expenses.
